SAN

HP ProCurve is the name of the network division at Hewlett-Packard. The name was changed from HP Procurve to HP Networking in 2010. HP ProCurve delivers a whole range of extras for your network, especially your SAN. The abbreviation SAN stands for Storage Area Network and describes a network of storage computers that centrally stores your company's data and makes it available to each connected computer individually. Anyone who operates an HP SAN can order a number of components from HP ProCurve that ensure the connection of the individual storage units of the HP SAN to the storage system itself and the storage system to the overall network. There is also the so-called HP ProCurve Power Supply, these are components that ensure the power supply of the HP SAN. In an HP SAN in particular, these components can be installed without any problems during operation, because the components from HP ProCurve provide the system with built-in redundancy. If individual switchboards are exchanged, others can take over the connection of the system during this time. So you save both time and money , because you don't have to paralyze the IT network and thus the entire company.
